Bembridge Gig Fest - 2026
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May
Jointly organised between Yarmouth Gig Rowing Club and Bembridge Harbour Authority, with on-the-water support from Brading Haven Yacht Club

Join us for a fantastic weekend of fixed-seat rowing at beautiful Bembridge Harbour on 30th –31st May 2026. Saturday sets the tone with fast-paced 1km straight-line racing, featuring heats and finals for Women’s, Mixed, and Open crews. After the excitement on the water, everyone is invited to stay on for a relaxed evening of live music, great food, and a well-earned drink or two—always a highlight and a perfect chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones from clubs across the region.

On Sunday, the action continues with the hugely popular race around St Helens Fort, a stunning 2km circular course that blends challenge with unforgettable scenery. It’s an event known for its warm atmosphere and the shared camaraderie that keeps clubs coming back year after year. Throughout the weekend, crews will accumulate points toward the newly established Gig Fest Trophy—awarded to the club with the strongest all-round performance. Whether you’re racing, supporting, or simply soaking up the harbour views, it promises to be a memorable weekend on and off the water.
